Bouncing Souls Auction Tickets for Benefit

From the Souls:

We’re getting pretty stoked for the “Represent New Brunswick” shows with our old friends in Lifetime and our new friends in The Ergs and Static Radio NJ next week. Really, you shouldn’t miss this gig! come out and hang!! and while we are on the subject of repping your local scene:Last month the New Jersey Punk Community lost a dear friend, Zach Finch. So many people cared about him and are trying to help his family in their time of need. They asked us to help. It’s not a situation where you feel like there’s anything you can do besides let them all know that you care and raise some money so they at least don’t have to think about that. So……. here’s what we’re gonna do:
-chunksaah has 3 wednesday “Punk Nights” at the Asbury Lanes left this summer. for each paying person. we’re going to give $1 to his family.
-also at punk night…we’re going to set up a merch table with chunksaah releases and some stuff we got from epitaph and other people…so buy something and we’ll donate the money.
-and then…we’re going to auction off two pairs of tickets to the Court Tavern show with The Bouncing Souls/Lifetime/The Ergs/Static RadioNJ to the highest bidder. this is the hottest ticket in town (and probably the hottest, sweatiest show ever…) and for a good cause…so dig deep and show your jersey pride.here are the links to the auctions (which end on saturday the 18th):

About Zach Finch:
Zack Finch, 26, was killed leaving the Stone Pony at 1:15 am on July
8th in a tragic motor vehicle accident. A member of The Gallows,
Benchpress 3000, and The Sirs, Zack was well known by many in the
Central NJ scene. Yet his circle of friends and loved ones reached far
beyond the punk scene, as over 900 people gathered to pay their
respects during his wake and funeral. He certainly lived up to the
tattoo that he bore on his arm: “Live Fast, Die Awesome!”He was an amazing Chef, working at the prestigious Hamilton Farm Golf
Club in Gladstone, NJ. He was also an avid fly fisherman, fishing
whenever possible in any body water he could get too. Not to mention,
a great guitarist/songwriter, not only writing songs for his
aforementioned bands, but for others as well.On the wall of Zack’s bedroom hung a sign that said “A Friend is
Someone With Whom You Dare to Be Yourself.” Nothing could be truer
when it came to Zack. He was a friend to anyone who met him, even for
the briefest of moments. Always willing to lend a hand, a dollar, or a
joke to anyone who needed it. Zack was himself with from the moment he
met anyone, and anyone who had the pleasure to meet him knew
immediately that he was simply one of a kind.

He will be missed by anyone who’s life he touched, anyone he shared a
drink with, and anyone he made laugh
