Define the Meaning major announcement in regards to Issue #7
MAJOR NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT: DEFINE THE MEANING
For the past few months we have been working extremely hard on preparing for Issue #7 and I couldn’t be more proud of how it is turning out. And I must say I have never been so excited to work with any publication.
Define the Meaning has grown as you all have seen since issue #1 and were about to grow even more!
Last month while H20 was shooting their music video for ‘What Happened,’ in New York City, Define the Meaning was asked to stop by for both days of the video shoot and to see the band in action. Although both days were cold out side we couldn’t have spent a better time there with H20. We hung out with them, Lou from Sick Of It All, and Matt Skiba.
Now your probably wondering what this has to do with the next issue.
We’d like to announce that Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) and Toby Morse (H20) will be featured on our cover and it will be our first color cover!
Not only that –Toby Morse (H20) interviewed Skiba about their new record ‘Agony & Irony,” (Epic Records) and Matt Skiba interviewed Toby Morse about their new record “Nothing To Prove” which will be released by Bridge 9 on MAY 27TH.
When H20’s music video for ‘What Happened,’ comes out in a few months be sure to look out for Define the Meaning in the music video shoot! We were able to get a few shots of the magazine in there.
Thanks to Toby and the band and Bridge 9 for hooking it up!!!!
Other interviews in Define the Meaning issue #7: Bridge 9 Records/Awake Strong (Featured labels!): Capital, Doomriders, Hot Water Music, Ian McFarland and Mike Pecci, Brooks from the Kidneys and Bad Religion: Goldfinger, Testament, Paul Booth, Social Distortion and a review of this years Black N Blue Bowl!
So you think all that news was a lot to handle? We have more news to add to this……we will not only have one cover but two different covers! The first cover will be featuring Matt Skiba/Toby Morse which will be sold all over the US/Canada and the second one will feature Mike Ness of Social Distortion (black n white cover).
